After completing my university studies, i were drawn to overseas travel, and it was during a trip to France that i discovered my love for photography.

I received my photography training at the acclaimed René Staud Sudios in Stuttgart, Germany, and worked for four years as a freelance photo assistant before settling in Hamburg as a photo designer.

Today i mainly shoot for advertising projects, working for a number of international and regional ad agencies.

Although much of my training focused on automotive photography, my main interests now are to document people and their environments.

I am a member of the BFF, the German professional association of freelance photographers and film makers, and a photographic volunteer for ARTHELPS, an initiative of creatives and artists who run projects to help children from deprived areas.

In April 2015, i led a project in a township in Cape Town, South Africa, where i produced art, photos and videos for an exhibition.

My personal photo project of the moment is called ‘Tschikko der Grossstadtlöwe’ (Tschikko the Big City Lion), which has transformed my pet rescue dog into a viral internet sensation, featured by news agencies around the globe. Read Less
