I am a photographer, photo retoucher and digital imaging specialist. I have more than seven years of experience in the field of professional photography and photographic post-production, mostly working in Spain, my country of origin. As of October 2011, I was granted permanent residency in NY, and I am now looking for work here as a photographer, digital retoucher, or photographer´s assistant. I am also available to teach and have extensive educational experience as a photography and Photoshop instructor.

I have worked as a freelance photographer and retoucher for a large number of companies in Spain, who have always been pleased with my performance. The assignments I have completed include a variety of events, portraiture, fashion shows and catwalks, art and commercial catalogs, and photojournalism, among others. I am also an expert at the manipulation of digital and print works.

Given the variety of people and companies that have hired me, I can say that I am capable of determining a client´s needs and requirements, adapting quickly to different image styles, and providing the highest quality of work at all times. I am a detail-oriented person who values quality and professionalism.

Furthermore, I am also constantly updating the techniques that I use in my work, as I consider that being up to speed is of utmost importance in my field. Although I started my career by obtaining an associate’s degree as an advanced image technician, I later finished a five-year BA program at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and took several jobs as a graphic designer and illustrator. This has allowed me to acquire an ample visual culture, spanning the spectrum of the visual arts. This is apparent not only in my commercial work, but also in my independent work as an artistic photographer, for which I have received several grants and awards. I am an enthusiastic and creative person who loves the world of photography and the arts in general.
