Creative Lead, Corporate Global Marketing

As the Creative Lead for Global Marketing, I am responsible for ensuring that L3Harris presents itself consistently and communicates appropriately in all marketing collateral, advertising, sponsorships and trade show materials. I work diligently to develop our worldwide trade show design standards and have successfully implemented them into our Tier 1 shows with fantastic reviews. I work with all creatives around the organization to ensure that these standards are translated to every show that L3Harris attends. This position requires me to review and approve all marketing material and because of that, I keep a constant pulse on our brand identity and how we are received in the market. In addition, I also work to champion new technologies that save L3Harris money and time with my recent partnership saving $250,000 and two months of time in one trade show alone. This leadership position has allowed me to work directly with our many talented creatives and through this collaboration I have been able to develop thoughtful and compelling stories that showcase how L3Harris has become a leader in our industry.

Legacy L3 Technologies Creative Director - Merger Team

L3 Technologies and Harris Corporation set off to become the sixth largest defense contractor in late 2018. In early January of 2019, I was brought onto the merger team as the counterpart to Harris’ Creative Director to lead and oversee the design, development and implementation of the new L3Harris brand. During this process, I was instrumental in developing all facets of the brand, from brand guidelines to advertising as well as templates and worldwide signage. I managed a team of creative professionals throughout the process to ensure that we had a consistent and forward-thinking look and feel while also making sure our messaging communicated correctly to customers, stakeholders and employees. This endeavor took place over six months and I worked to preserve complete secrecy around the new brand. I was also tasked to maintain and complete all responsibilities for my Lead Designer position for L3 Technologies Corporate and Communication Systems Segment throughout the merger process.

Senior Graphic Designer and Multimedia Specialist

As the Senior Graphic Designer and Multimedia Specialist for L3, I am required to have a high level of understanding and creativity in various aspects of design. I am responsible for implementing web, print and video needs across multiple platforms. I support and create numerous elements that are incorporated into the many trade shows that L3 attends, while working with other divisions to make sure that all creative is on brand, cohesive and displays the necessary information and material to entice current and future customers. I also work in-house on supporting facility graphics, vehicle wraps, trade show giveaways, data sheets, product booklets, updating our website and creating eye catching presentations all while meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.

Graphic Designer

As the designer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers I work closely with internal and external clients, including partners and sponsors, to produce hundreds of pieces of on-brand collateral which cover the gammut of print, web, video and email. I developed strong assets that were used during Training Camp, Night Practice and regular season gamedays including stadium signage, billboards, vehicle wraps, fan giveaways, front end web design and upkeep, ticketing experieces and jumbotron graphics while continuously working on in house materials and communications that targeted our current fan base, members and future fans. I play a vital roll in making sure that all messaging is correct and easy for members and fans to understand while assuring that all deadlines are met and the creative is interesting and powerful. While at the Bucs, my strong work ethic and leadership abilities helped my team through times where we were understaffed and against tight turnarounds and deadlines. The range of projects and collateral that I have created has helped me grow as a designer and understand what it takes to work and be successful in the entertainment industry.

Corporate Brand Identity
Created a multi-page branding manual, which included a systematic study and creation of a corporate identity by on site research as well as competitive research.

Environmental Design
Created and designed impacts that were not only functional but were also environmentally friendly for the Art Institute of Tampa. Researched and developed materials for signage that conformed to ADA and LEED standards. Created a wayfinding, signage, and graphics package that detailed interior and exterior impacts.

Art Direction
Within a group, delegated and managed a project from start to finish that included a multi-page marketing research document to establish creative parameters, along with a copywriting and an advertising campaign.

Brand Strategy
Perform extensive research in order to understand the logistics of creating and establishing a new business rationale in the Tampa area, along with developing the brand launch for the business.

Motion Graphics
Develop in-video elements that consist of kinetic typography and visual effects to enhance and already rendered and produced video adding depth and value to the production. Created intro and outro slates to compliment a variety of filmed pieces.
