Where do you begin when you're charged with telling the brand story of a $1.9 billion credit union with over 160,000 members, that also stretches across the state of Michigan, from lake-to-lake?

It began with building the best damn Brand Development + Engagement team this planet has ever known. Founded in a strategic purpose, not a corporate hierarchy, the team is designed to tackle the creative, content, digital and operational functions of Lake Trust Credit Union's advertising, marketing, interactive and internal communication efforts.

The journey continues with a smattering of these responsibilities:
• Developing and executing on a Brand Strategy.
• Challenging traditional financial industry culture, processes and philosophies.
• Leading and fostering growth among an array of skill sets.
• Crafting and facilitating strategic business plan objectives and initiatives.
• Working collaboratively with Credit Union business units to further strategic objectives.
• Doing my best to avoid ridiculous corporate buzzwords and financial industry jargon.
• Maintaining a standard of creativity and thought that is on par with outside industries.
