Professor in the Graphic Design Department where I teach Typography ii, the sophomore-level required type class. In this class, students are introduced to multi-page documents, motion graphics and basic information design. Class meets for 10+ hours a week. Focus on sketching (both by hand and on the computer), narrative (storytelling and character) and pacing. I have also been a ta for Gunta Kaza’s Design Research and Joe Quackenbush’s Graphic Design i. Special lecture topics include: Designers Should Be Better Presenters for Design Research and Choreography: People and Type in Motion for Typography II.
