In 2006, after years of planning, John Bushe' conjured his dream company, Adbongo, Inc. Since that time, he has steered the evolution and expansion of the ark from its beginnings as an advertising firm that beats to another drum, to its current incarnation as a clean business accelerator with specialization in zero waste.

This merchant of light weds the best of seemingly disparate worlds: the hard-core discipline of military life with the creative skills and passion of an artist. Leading up to his creation of Adbongo, Mr. Bushe' gained his “captain” skills through his five successful years in the U.S. Marines where he served as First Team Leader in the Middle East, finishing his service at the rank of Staff Sergeant. Since he was a young child, John has nurtured multiple modalities of artistic expression. Painting is still his favorite today. The artist in John keeps Adbongo moving forward, beyond the cutting edge, while the military leader in him gives him the strength to strand firm in the trenches of the new economy he is working to build. Twelve years of prior experience in the military, mortgage and marketing industries developed the Wizard of Reuse's business acumen. He gained invaluable marketing experience through roles with global brands like Wells Fargo and the American Red Cross. Well-known Dallas artist and designer, Art Garcia, helped John refine his graphic design, branding, logo design and advertising skills, and he taught himself multiple creative platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro.

John graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Direction and Copy Writing from SMU’s Temerlin School of Advertising, one of the top advertising schools in the nation. Today he is building a force of resource efficiency consultants, and designing small businesses for the new economy using university resources. Read Less
