I am passionate about creating and contributing to creative projects. This page is a collection of personal art & team collabs with some amazingly passionate, talented & down to earth people whom I've had the pleasure to hang out, learn from and be friends with over the years :)

When I created this BE account in 2010, my focus was CGI + VFX. After Rhythm & Hues (2012), I took a 3 year sabbatical to learn entrepreneurship and leadership. I believe good art transcends beyond what the eyes can see. It could disrupt the status quo, leaving behind lasting positive impact on society.

2016 Goal:
I am a huge fan of Elon Musk & Komal Ahmad. My 2016 goal is to create an MVP (mobile and/or web app) with a team to solve local & regional social issues that matter. 11th January 2016 marks the first day of that journey!

1)NextAcademy - 11/1/16 -11/3/16
3 months Coding Bootcamp @ MaGIC in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
I finally decided to man up and face my fear.
(I am academically challenged, y'know kinda like Naruto Uzumaki. I am ashamed to share this... I had trouble figuring out Maths in school and Flash Actionscripts in College.)

The environment @MaGIC, and the people however... I must say I can get used to this place. The whole Start-up work-environment thing! I dig that. Feels kinda like Rhythm & Hues all over again.

2)Find mentors and guidance from those who do what they believe. Focus on Mastery and serving others.
(i)Get the ideas validated and ready for MaGIC Accelerator Program's 2016 3rd cohort.
(ii)In 3 years time scale & contribute to the ASEAN echo-system.

As I learn & get better at creating, I will share my progress here from time to time. #peacebeuponu Read Less

Q: Why do you love art?
A: I was 5 years old; ... sprawled on d TV room floor like any kid would on Saturday mornings and I remember watching the opening animated scene of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Thundercats for the first time ( 80s cartoons eh! They don't make em like that no mo ). The feeling where your hair stands, heart racing, I LOVED it! It was my fondest childhood memory! So much that I thought of it every waking hour (even made illegal VHS copies so i could just watch the intros!).

Fast forward 10 years later; Blizzard released Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. The CGI cinematic... visual experience... it blew my mind! That familiar feeling & excitement (esp. the Thrall & Grom Hellscream scene!), I knew in my heart I wanted to be part of creating that experience! I believe successful visuals (regardless of the medium) speak to us on levels we can't describe in words. We watch, we feel, we fall in love.

Fast forward another 15 years, looking back... what an incredible journey!

My sincerest gratitude to those who I've met along the way. If you're reading this: Thank you. Diamonds are coals made good under pressure. Thank you for pushing me to always do the uncomfortable things. You helped me grow professionally and most importantly grow as a better person. This humble gallery is testament to your love and collaboration. With every new friends & faces, I hope to grow this gallery together with you.
