Manage productive, creative and versatile Art Dept working on various jobs/projects that include individual/group custom jobs, private label lines and fundraiser programs to be printed on the highest quality sportswear on the market.

Also responsible for developing designs/illustrations for custom/private label/fundraiser jobs and programs. Working with clients on ideas from beginning to finished product. Also responsible for all separations, approving first strike-offs in production process as well.

While at T-Shirt International I was employed for 12 years and 2 months.

•Originally hired as Assistant Art Director in 2002. I was responsible for working on creative projects, managing a staff of creative/production artists and digitizers through entire process from initial project idea/assignment to completion in production.

•Promoted to Art Director - in that capacity from 2005-2008. Myself and staff located in Culloden, WV and Pittsburgh, Pa, responsible for creating designs/lines for private label programs ranging from Americana through Wildlife as well as many others for major retailers throughout the USA.

•In 2008, I took over the role of Production Art Director after TSI's merger with Crown Prince - managing a staff of Production Artists in Culloden, WV. I was also responsible for overseeing and approving any and all overseas Production samples and strike-offs. I served in that capacity until 2010 at which time I was moved back to creative art/design.

•Art Dept Manager at the Culloden, WV location from 2010 until February 3, 2015. Responsible for overseeing the Dept staff as well as researching/developing/working on creative projects and overseeing import printing contractors - approving, etc.

•Over the 12 years at TSI, my designs contributed immensely to the success of the company as they were and continue to be top sellers. I also created new opportunities for our sales team in all categories.

•Clients included Walmart, K-Mart, Kohls, Finish Line, Bon-Ton, Sports Authority, Rustic Ridge, Shopko, Mossberg and many others.

•Expert at professional level in all aspects of CS6 working on Mac.

Responsibilities

•Managed a staff of 8 artists - 4 creative/4 production.
Accomplishments

•Created packages/programs from concept to finish for clients that included: The Source(Walmart), Six Flags Recreation Parks, Busch Gardens, Drew Pearson Marketing, Tommy Hilfiger, Perry Ellis, Paco, Pepe Jeans, Liz Clairborne, Wilson Sports, Nascar, K-Mart and others.

•Management - Managed Creative and Production Art staff from idea(s) through completion to be sent to production. Worked with domestic production staff approving strike-offs to ensure quality that would be consistent throughout the job.

•Expert at professional level in all aspects of Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign working on Mac.

•Created illustrations and graphic designs to be printed as heat transfers. Subjects included - Americana, Auto/ Biker, Ladies Fashion, Novelty, Wildlife and Youth.

Accomplishments

•Was hired to build an Art Department from scratch. Went from myself and 2 other artists to a staff of 21 full- time creative/production artists (plus 4 freelance).

•Designed three consecutive official Kentucky Derby logos: 119, 120 and 121.
