Position Overview:

As a Graphic Designer, your role is to create visually appealing and impactful designs that communicate messages effectively. You will work closely with internal teams to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that align with their objectives. This position requires a strong blend of artistic talent, technical skills, and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Creation: Develop innovative and eye-catching designs for various mediums such as print, digital, and social media. This includes creating logos, brochures, advertisements, website graphics, social media visuals, event & club flyers, infographics, and other marketing collateral.

Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their design requirements and objectives. Effectively communicate and present design concepts, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to ensure client satisfaction.

Branding and Identity: Create and maintain brand identities for clients, ensuring consistency across all visual elements. Develop style guides, color schemes, typography, and other brand elements that reflect the client's values and target audience.

Visual Strategy: Work with marketing teams or creative directors to develop visual strategies for campaigns or projects. Use your expertise to recommend design approaches that align with the overall brand strategy and campaign goals.

Industry Trends and Tools: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and software tools. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to deliver cutting-edge designs and leverage technology effectively.

Production and Quality Control: Prepare designs for production by collaborating with printers, developers, or other production specialists. Ensure the quality of the final output by conducting thorough reviews, proofreading, and performing quality checks.

Time Management and Prioritization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively. Keep track of project progress and communicate any potential delays or challenges to stakeholders proactively.

Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as copywriters, marketers, and web developers, to ensure seamless integration of design elements and consistent messaging. Provide constructive feedback and contribute to a collaborative and creative work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), or other relevant tools

Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition

Ability to translate client requirements and brand guidelines into compelling visual designs

Excellent communication skills to effectively present and articulate design concepts and collaborate with stakeholders

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
