Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the pet owner marketing team to develop visual assets supporting content, social and digital marketing efforts. Produce both printed and digital material ensuring the development and maintenance of a strong and creative visual identity for the brand (banners, website, blog, emails, social, posters, direct mail, etc.)
Develop creative strategies, create unexpected ideas and execute them with solid design direction all the way through production.
Ability to curate, create and/or edit visual assets like photographs, illustrations, infographics, etc with strong skills in layout and composition.
Perform art direction with agency partners and artists to ensure alignment to brand style guide and delivery of creative concept.
Develop a range of creative ideas and executions for each project and be able to effectively collaborate with copy partner.
Help establish a creative process for asset development from concept to production.
Stays on the pulse of design innovations and techniques. Researches current market and social trends as well as keeps abreast of culture trends and potential impacts and inspiration

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Solid academic background in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or Communication Design
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, etc. Animation skills are a bonus.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Excellent creative thinking and visual skills, including use of photography, illustration, typography, & layouts.
Excellent attention to detail, file organization and file management
Strong project management skills; ability to coordinate, communicate and adhere to detailed production schedules.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly
Exhibits integrity though fair and ethical behavior toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment
