Home Care Assistance is a fast-growing senior care company based in San Francisco with over 150 retail locations. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Designer who can help us build a highly engaging app that will help give clients' families peace of mind over the next 6 months. We have a prototype software and have gathered some user feedback, but are still in the early stages of development and are looking for a design lead who can help us define and create a premier user experience that aligns with our brand and vision.
Local candidate preferred: This is a remote position, however you will be required to work in the San Francisco Headquarters every Wednesday. BART accessible.
Lead product design and contribute as an integral part of the project team, working closely with the Engineering Team and Product Managers
Understand user feedback on current prototype by participating in user research and testing sessions
Develop a deep understanding of the company's brand and vision for the product to reflect in all aspects of product design
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps and present them to internal teams and key stakeholders
Deliver detailed wireframes, UI specifications, and prototypes
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, navigation)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Able to attend daily standups (video conference) and in-person office meetings as necessary
5+ years experience as Product Designer, UI/UX Designer or similar role
Knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction
Portfolio of consumer app centered design projects
Proficient with common wireframing tools and up-to-date knowledge of design software
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
