Position Overview

The Coordinator, Design Development (“CDD”) partners closely with the Senior Manager of Design and Development (“SMDD”) to document and develop every detail of each store’s design. This encompasses all fixtures, furniture and interior design elements.  The CDD coordinates with the architect(s) and fixture vendor(s) and all other vendor(s) to ensure the design is properly represented.

 

Essential Duties + Responsibilities

Generate 3D models for prospective projects

Produce preliminary floorplans in CAD based on store design

Package finalized design into rendered presentations

Communicate with architect(s) to ensure proper representation of design

Work closely with external vendors on fixture development to ensure strict adherence to high level of quality

Ensure adherence to the financial budget

Maintain schedule according to allocated time lines

Coordinate ordering and delivery timelines of all purchased FF&E

Closely monitor progress of the project, and promptly resolve any unexpected delays or conditions

Assist in the design of special projects (i.e. temporary pop-up shops), and store renovations

Oversee project management of special projects (i.e. temporary pop-u shops), and store renovations

Work with uncompromising high standards

Job Requirements:

Expert Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Sketch-up

Advanced Knowledge of CAD based software (Preferably AutoCAD)

Fluency in Microsoft Office

Experience working in retail environment preferred

 

Education:

Interior Design or Architecture degree preferred
