Recently tagged as a firm-to-be-watched, we are seeking a super sharp, dynamic Branding and Communications expert to join our team in producing highly thoughtful and beautiful projects.
We are seeking a creative and engaged person to join a team interested in exploring the overlap between architectural design and spatial branding. Our ideal candidate has a professional degree in branding and/or graphic design, or a related field, and a minimum of +/-8 years of hands-on branding and graphic design experience in a design-focused office, ideally an architectural office or similar. A background in architecture is desirable, but not required. This work entails assisting the Director of Strategy in managing the production and output by the branding and graphics team. He or she will also work closely with architectural teams in designing strategies and generating narratives to guide the architectural work and will lead the efforts of the graphic branding team in reflecting that work in clear and clever ways. Equally important to the ability to generate original thoughts and concepts is the ability to develop and refine them all the way through to a final, deliverable product.
The position requires strong client-engagement skills, strong analytical skills, strong graphic design and presentation skills, and the ability to think creatively both independently and within teams. The ideal candidate is able to communicate complex ideas with clarity: visually, verbally, and in writing.
Candidates should have expert experience in digital and physical graphic production, through demonstrated skill with the following programs:
-Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, & Photoshop
-Microsoft Excel & Word
-Digital and hard copy printing
Experience with the following would be helpful but aren’t mandatory:
-AutoCAD / Revit
-Sketchup / Rhino or other 3dModeling platforms
Candidates should come prepared to discuss specific relevant experiences and show and discuss their branding and graphic work, any architectural work and work centered on the generation and presentation of conceptual ideas.
