The Senior Graphic Designer will be a member of the Marketing department and will support the marketing and branding efforts across the firm under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer and the Communications manager. Will be responsible for supervising junior graphics (2) personnel.

The successful candidate will be flexible and innovative, bring fresh design concepts to existing collateral, and will have the ability to establish strong, positive relationships with all members of the firm’s Marketing group, as well as other support departments and attorneys. 

The graphic designer will work within existing brand identity systems and templates to create design solutions for the firm’s digital and print collateral materials, including but not limited to pitch presentations, event graphics, brochures, publications, e-mail campaigns, infographics, ads, and marketing-related templates. Includes management of incoming design and production project requests to prioritize needs and the management of multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements:

At least 7-10 years job related experience. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. A strong understanding of corporate brand standards. Digital print production and pre-press production experience is a must. Background within the corporate legal industry is desired.

Demonstrated graphic design skills with a portfolio of printed and digital materials.

Manage the firm’s visual brand through graphical presentation of content, including pitches, presentations, newsletters, invitations, and other firm marketing materials and templates.Manage brand guidelines and create training documentation. Ability to bring a creative edge to projects while working within the firm's brand standards.

Manage the Marketing group's graphics workflow, organization of graphic files and image library assets, including giving clear and specific direction for production.

Produce visual communication materials, direct layout and design and enhance copywriting, and know how to develop and present style guideline specifications for print/digital page layout.

Oversee photo direction and specifications for attorney photos. Develops photo library.

Develop design direction for various HTML marketing materials and graphic programs.

Meet work standards by following production, productivity, quality and services standards, resolving operational problems and identifying work process improvements. Ability to determine and meet production schedules while maintaining high standards in creative execution.

Manage relationships with existing vendors, attends press checks as needed, and source new cost efficient production options that meet quality standards.

Study, evaluates and offer recommendations for changes to art and copy writing to best present visual messages.


Proficiency in Adobe CS suite and Microsoft Office suite is required (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Word and PowerPoint).

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and animation is desired.

Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment. Accomplishes marketing and firm goals by completing projects in a timely manner.

Self-starter who works well both independently and with a team, and is comfortable taking direction.

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proactive and reliable to fellow team members with a positive attitude and a passion for design.
