PURPOSE: HATCH is an fashion forward contemporary retail brand centered on creating a chic, timeless and approachable aesthetic for women before, during and after pregnancy. The Graphic Designer will play a critical role in creating, developing and managing creative design across HATCH’s website, social media, packaging, email and print projects.
Website & Email
Create and develop all design features of HATCH website
Develop and enhance site visuals
Update design to improve user experience; identify and evaluate places to evolve and improve.
Design all materials for email channel.
Create, generate, images, illustrations, gifs
Print / Promotional
Create Lookbook several times a year as required by editorial compilations of specific collections
Design miscellaneous projects for promotional materials
BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job
2-5 Years Relevant Experience in Web and Print Graphic Design
Strong understanding of multimedia design, social media platforms, graphic layout and design
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, plus for fluency in Illustration Tools a bonus!
Ability to create GIF and MP4 pieces
Detail-oriented, team player with creative problem-solving skills
Flexibility & Time Management: ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and take responsibilities for deadlines
Ability to communicate his/her ideas effectively
