I Purpose of Role

As an Interaction Designer at Native, you will become involved in all stages of a project, including research, concept development and preparation of client presentations. Each member of the team is critical to the success of a project.

You will be required to work both individually and as a member of a team, to undertake various tasks under the supervision of a Director or Lead Designer.

II Reporting and Coordination Reporting

- Direct line reporting to Interaction Design Lead and Creative Director

Periodic Reporting


- There will be periodic reporting and liaison with:
o Chief Operating Officer and Business Unit Directors
o Head of Talent & HR, Studio Manager and other operational staff

Key Tasks

General tasks include but are not limited:

Design Development Sketching
Presentation Documentation


Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

-  Information architecture development and wireframe creation for complex user interfaces

-  Detailed UI specification and documentation development

-  Support of user research activities such as planning, observations, interviews and synthesis

-  Development of use case scenarios and experience frameworks

-  Closely collaborate with the Visual and Motion Design team as well as the Industrial Design team on convergent projects

-  Collaboration with industrial designers on design and integration of physical interaction elements

-  Liaison with developers to optimize designs for implementation

-  Close collaboration with internal development resources

-  Always ensure that deadlines and requested deliverables are met to the highest level of

quality, both for internal reviews and external presentations

-  Pro-actively push the level of quality in both thinking and execution, constantly come up with

new ideas and ways of solving problems, even if project briefs are similar

-  Consider the bigger picture and understand the overall context and requirements of each

individual project

-  Ensure that your and your teams work is always properly documented, stored and archived

IV Experience, Knowledge and Skills Qualifications

- University graduate (preferred) Knowledge and Skills

-  Action-oriented and goal-driven

-  Ability to work alone

-  Co-operative and sharing with colleagues

-  Proactive approach and embraces change

-  Strong communication skills

-  Experience on a variety of target platforms with differing screen sizes and input methods

(web, mobile, touch, physical, etc.)

-  Understanding of user-interface design methodologies and processes

-  Knowledge around ethnographic research and validation methodologies

-  Logical thinking to translate complex interactions into simple user experiences and flows

-  Being on the pulse of technological innovation and cultural trends

-  Understanding of graphic, motion graphic and product-related user interface requirements

and trends
