This is a “jack of all trades” type role that requires skill in all aspects of graphic design. As a vital member of our team, your primary focus will revolve around crafting captivating and visually stunning web graphics, from banners to heroes and beyond. Your versatile experience in editorial design will also come into play as you contribute to print projects, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual identity across various mediums.
The perfect candidate for this position has an elevated aesthetic and experience designing for fashion and entertainment media. You should be highly organized, attentive to deadlines and details, possesses excellent project management abilities, and can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and design eye-catching banner advertisements for web-based campaigns.
Coordinate with marketing partners to deliver projects on schedule.
Demonstrates a high understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, color theory and design principles.
Provide creative solutions and consistently deliver on-brand concepts and executions.
Remain current on industry, cultural, and technology trends, and look for opportunities to proactively incorporate them into our creative concepts.
Understand various execution formats and incorporate best practices for various deliverables including social media, print, and web.
Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years in graphic design.
Experience working with a creative team (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or public relations).
Expert level knowledge of all related software and processes, especially Adobe Creative Suite.
Must be self-motivated, hard working, well-organized, thick skinned and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
Ongoing drive to understand emerging techniques, digital design trends and philosophies in marketing and technology.
Must have a portfolio (share anything that conveys the way you think or approach assignments, even if it was never produced).
Design portfolio must be submitted with application.
