Design Director

As an Art Director on our in-house brand team, you will play a pivotal and multi-disciplinary role in shaping and stewarding our complete brand experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Brand Officer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative concepts that resonate with our target audience and elevate the brand across all touchpoints.


Responsibilities:

  • Holistic Brand Development: Play a key role in the development of our brand identity in all manifestations, and in ensuring ongoing consistency and alignment with our brand values and objectives.
  • Iterative Brand Evolution: Building a brand is an ongoing process of evolution and refinement, and you’ll be actively involved in iterating on our brand identity and creative direction based on market feedback and insights.
  • Lead By Doing: Balance hands-on design and making-of-things with providing creative direction and guidance to designers, vendors, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of projects across print, digital, and all other media channels.
  • Campaign Development: Play a key role in conceptualizing and executing innovative integrated brand campaigns that effectively communicate our brand message and drive engagement with our target audience(s).
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing and operations to ensure alignment and cohesion across all brand initiatives.
  • Creative Leadership: Mentor and inspire junior members of the brand team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Workstream Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 – 8 years experience working as Sr. / Lead Designer, Art Director, or a similar creative leadership role, preferably within an agency or in-house creative team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects across various mediums.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant creative tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for solving problems and achieving goals through design and creativity.
