Video Editor Freelance (Fashion)

INDG is looking for a Video Editor to join the Fashion vertical on a Freelance basis. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling and polished videos. The ideal candidate should have a basic level of familiarity with raw footage and color grading, a keen eye for graphic composition, and a good understanding of web and broadcast delivery standards.

You will be part of the Fashion team which works directly with our Fashion clients on all things footwear, apparel and accessories. With fast production deadlines, a supportive and fun team who always perform to the best of their ability and those who are constantly striving for the best qualitative output.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with the fashion team, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Provide creative input and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the overall quality and impact of the videos.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Organise and maintain a library of video assets, including raw footage, graphics, and sound effects.
  • Perform quality checks on edited videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Job requirements

  • Would be great if you have/are...
  • Strong proficiency in core editing softwares (Davinci resolve / Adobe premiere)
  • Basic level familiarity with raw footage and colour grading
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest video editing software, tools, and techniques.
  • Good eye for graphic composition
  • Knowledge of web and broadcast delivery standards
  • Sound editing skills
  • 3D design capabilities, compositing skills with familiarity with AOV’s, Scripting skills, Kinetic typography are nice to have
  • Fluent in English
