3D Generalist

Job Overview: A 3D Generalist is responsible for creating visually stunning 3D models, textures, and animations for use in video games, films, and other interactive media. 3D Generalist should be detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player. Ultimately, a top-notch 3D Generalist is creative and artistic with a strong working knowledge of color, texture, and light as well as industry-standard software.

Principal Responsibilities:

Using 3D modeling, texture, mapping, skinning, rigging and other techniques to create stylized 3d characters and environments. 

Use a combination of morph targets/blends shapes and bone animation to achieve good looking phoneme mouth shapes and facial expressions. 

Edit and adjust mesh, bones or weights to adapt 3d character to existing animations or new ones. 

Work with developers to integrate 3d models, characters or environments into existing unity project.

Understand the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas. 

Receiving feedback and editing your creations based on the comments received. 

Troubleshooting any problems that arise during work on a project. 

Competencies and Skills:

Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software

Unity knowledge is a plus

Excellent creativity and artistic skills.

An eye for composition, texture, color, and lighting

Good communication and teamwork skills

Excellent time management skills

Willingness to remain up-to-date on the latest creative software and hardware.
