Design in various forms has always been my passion, when I was younger going to HMV to look at record sleeves was my art gallery.

I am inspired by culture and the vibrancy of life, I was brought up going to events like Notting Hill Carnival. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Brazil, Thailand, Sweden, Portugal, France, Spain, Greece, Germany and the USA. Experiencing these different cultures has influenced me as a person and a designer, and
I drawn upon my travels for inspiration and insight.

I am looking forward to working in the industry and becoming an integral part of a design team.

Ideas Foundation

Student Mentor

Fortnightly mentoring position helping Manchester Creative & Media Academy students develop design skills in response to a brief outlined by McCann Manchester to produce a creative online magazine designed and run by students. I was able to pass on skills and knowledge to four young aspiring designers, an experience which I know is invaluable at that age. It was an exciting project that I would happily help with again.

Pulse Films

Work Placement

2-day work placement assisting camera crew on the set of two separate music videos. Both videos were directed by Emil Nava. The first shoot was for the artist L Griffin and his music video 'The Wait'. The video was shot in East London in a warehouse where the art department had designed and set up a backdrop for the video. I helped bring in and set up the equipment. For the majority of the day I assisted the camera crew and occasionally the production crew. The second shoot was for singer Delilah's video for 'Love You So' where my role was similar to the first shoot. An insight to this working environment was very interesting and exciting, and is something I would really love to get more involved in.
