Jerod Killick is Norwegian - Canadian writer and photographer from Vancouver, British Columbia. Jerod's creative works have been characterized as "moody," "authentic," and "grounding."  He is adept at getting to know his subject matter on a deeply personal basis, seen both in the characters he writes about, and the people in his photos.

As a fine art photographer, Jerod works in both digital and analogue formats, but prefers all aspects of the film and Polaroid picture making process.  He draws inspiration from many sources, including visits with family back in Norway, childhood years spent in Southeast Alaska, and from his current work as a senior leader in mental health and addictions in Vancouver BC.  Jerod also spent several years in Idaho, a place that continues to inform much of the work seen throughout his portfolio.

His latest novel, "Without A Testimony," set in Northern Idaho in the 1990s, tells the tragic story of Jordan, a Mormon coming of age in a society eager to accept his sexuality, held back by a faith desperately trying to save his soul.

You can find his latest novel, "WITHOUT A TESTIMONY," on Amazon.  In 2008, one of his images was featured in BLUR MAGAZINE (ISSUE 18).  Most recently, a selection of photography works went on display at the LAB ART SHOW, put on by Glitz Entertainment, in 2014. Read Less
