Global Forex Trading (GFT) is an international currency trading dealer. I work with a team to develop and execute print and web campaigns for our global offices. I communicate with other GFT team members and printers in the UK, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the Middle East on a day-to-day basis to meet the growing needs of our company. Most of my time is focused on concepting infographics and layouts for our educational guides, maintaining our global print ad schedule, and building out trade show components.

Graphics Studio I is an introductory course which encompasses the technical aspects of Adobe Illustrator CS5 and InDesign CS5. My students are taught to use these design tools in conjunction with real-life scenario problem solving and process.

Worked directly with Creative Director to concept and execute print and web projects for (primarily) Grand Rapids based clients. Projects included branding systems, advertising, websites and various print collateral for the following clients: JW Marriott Grand Rapids, Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, Solace Magazine, Downtown Grand Rapids Aliiance, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, Plastic Surgery Associates, Blackstone Hotel Chicago, Arcus Foundation and more.

I attended the Graphic Design program for four years. While there, aside from my general graphic design studies, I focused on extended explorations in package design, advertising, photography, social design, environmental design and advanced typography.
