Assistant Boutique Manager
At this position, I am handling overall managerial duties. With Francesca's there is room for creative freedom specific to each boutique. I conduct visual displays and it is crucial to understand the overall business. I work with displays and choose what is best for the products I have to work with and what will ultimately make a profit for the store. Handling customers and giving them an overall enjoyable and successful experience with us is key. We build relationships with our customers and show the passion we have for our merchandise.
Sales Associate; Manager
At this job, I was trusted with many responsibilities. I was promoted to manager and continued with my duties of being a team lead for the sales associates, hosting and attending conference calls, handling customer issues as well as technical issues, and the marketing and promotional placement around the store. I also assisted in floor sets and visual merchandising around the store on a daily basis. Customer service was a must and I gained experience in personal selling through helping our customers and their shopping experience. I also gained experience opening a store as this was a new store location that I got hired into.
In this position, I was left in charge with a fellow classmate of a boutique in the downtown area of Savannah. In this position, we were responsible for visuals of the store, promotional ads, revitalizing the social media sites, personal selling and assistance with our customers, scheduling the other associates as well as guiding them, and conducting payroll each pay period. I also earned some experience with buying for the store after researching and observing our customer base. This position not only counted as a management position but it was an internship. On top of all my experience I also assisted in closing the store when the location moved out of Savannah, and delegating tasks during the close.
