FAIR Money is a multidisciplinary research collective studying income inequality and household financial management in Silicon Valley. To date this has meant inquiry into predatory lending practices such as payday loans, but we have recently begun investigating student loan debt.

Wearing the many hats that a small design firm demands and learning how to bring elegant, meaningful products to market from alongside two senior IDEO alumni.

Deep involvement in carrying multiple consumer electronic and medical devices from idea to manufacturable reality. Meeting with clients and conducting field research to identify needs, then sketching and mocking up potential solutions in the shop and in Solidworks, all the while working closely with engineers (particularly the great team at Fusion Design working upstairs).

Public Relations Assistant

Discovered new ways to promote and innovate within library system serving over 400,000 residents. Worked with librarians at all 8 branches to better understand their needs.

Developed and managed social media and email marketing campaigns, designed bold new signage after noticing an underutilized branch. Created a proposal for a multi-faceted literacy program involving interactive media.
