Jeeyoung Jung was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. From an early age, his father - a civil engineer - taught him the technique behind drafting. Eventually, he followed in his father's footsteps and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering.
In March of 2009, Jung moved to Seattle, Washington with the intent to pursue a degree in architecture, but he found himself drawn to web design. Like architecture, the process behind web design involved designing, mapping and erecting a purposeful space to house thoughts and share ideas. Unlike architecture, however, web design allowed a freedom that concrete structures did not allow.
After working as a freelance web designer, Jung finally chose his course and enrolled in the Art Institute of Seattle in September 2010. Jung is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Interactive Media and has been well-received by the Dean, his instructors and his peers.
His love for art, eye for design and knowledge in engineering proved to be great assets in making his ideas manifest. In all his designs, he desires an elegance in structure and a purpose in design. Read Less
