I am best described as a creative retoucher. A fusion of my passion for apple macs, technical nous and an innate love of photography and images.
I have developed an eye for detail and realism, but never lose sight of the importance of deadlines, budgets and really understanding the brief.
I compose, retouch and enhance.
I work with photographers, art directors and designers.
I print portfolios and exhibition prints.
I produce and take pictures.

I started working in Photoshop at the tender age of 14, on an old Powerbook G3, running Photoshop 5. By 16 I knew what I wanted to do, I loved working on a Mac, I loved manipulating images. I started working in Photoshop at the tender age of 14, on an old Powerbook G3, running Photoshop 5. By 16 I knew what I wanted to do, I loved working on a Mac, I loved manipulating images. The most suitable course I could take in Devon at that age was a National Diploma in Graphic Design. At 19, I moved to London and started working for Primary Colour - at the time, a busy, successful pro photo lab. I learnt a lot here from many people, Mark Foxwell, Brett Collins, Steve Macleod to name a few.
After a year or so at Primary, I moved over to help on all the retouching and colouring on Maharishi's epic DPM book. In 2003 I went freelance, going from strength to strength, I'm still going strong 7 years later. Read Less
