Jasmine Barba

Graphic Designer

Oxnard, CA, USA
Creating life and movement on a 2-D surface is where Jasmine's passion lays; whether it’s through layouts, packaging or print, making people understand what she is saying is a strengthening feeling that cannot be compared to for her. Utilizing photography, typography, and vector art, she is able to succeed in her passion. She strives to bring illusion of movement and space into the work that she creates, and she does that with her use of color, a mixture of geometric and organic shapes, and realistic properties portrayed stylistically. With each design she creates, there is research involved. Jasmine stands firmly when it comes to research because she is able to capture important and/or accurate elements and details in my each of her designs.

For every design she creates, whether it is layouts, logos, or concepts, there are at least 3-6 other versions in the file; there is a consistency of ideas that flow into her head as Jasmine is designing, and she does not want to lose any of those ideas so she keeps them all. She wants to be able to offer a client more than one version of an idea because you never know if something else you create will be more appealing to them. Along with my strong attention to detail, Jasmine's ability to create and offer a multitude of designs for one project is what makes her work stand apart.
