The company’s initial line of products was selected for the 2003 National Stationery Show’s esteemed New Product Display and was among “Best New Product” finalists in the Take Note® (Social Stationery Products) section. Quite Contrary has exhibited in industry trade shows in New York and San Francisco, collaborated with a leading manufacturer on product design presentations for Target, and currently has more than four-dozen designs under license with several national manufacturers.

Senior Graphic Designer and Photography Coordinator
Primarily responsible for design and production of university collateral material, including the quarterly alumni magazine, all projects related to Continuing Education, publications for various special events, and recruiting materials for the Office of Admission. As part of a two-person design team, had the opportunity to update and implement Furman’s new brand identity system. Often had the opportunity to work with the Director of Web Communications to conceptualize and create strategies for the re-design of several of the university’s many web sites.
Also scheduled all requests for photography and coordinated the schedules of several photographers. Daily photography responsibilities included processing and posting photographs to the university’s intranet news site, as well as editing and archiving all incoming photographs. Also designed and implemented a keyword- and metadata-searchable archive of all campus photography.
