Born in 1990, Ilaria graduated in MArch double-degree program in Architecture (Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino), with the thesis “The future of Leslie Green. Three case studies for a stategic reuse of London’s abandoned Tube stations"; Ilaria specialized in "Technological and Environmental Design” Politecnico di Milano's orientation program.

Ilaria also graduated from the Alta Scuola Politecnica, with a project regarding innovative solutions for the supermarkets of the future (called "Future Food District" promoted by MIT Senseable City Lab, EXPO 2015 and Telecom Italia), and from the Accademia Adrianea's Itinerant Master Program in "Museum Design, Architecture and Archaeology" where she learned how to study, read, survey, re-design and innovatively manage archaeological sites of the world.
Ilaria loves to travel and thanks to the Erasmus program at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning of the University of the West of England she improved her planning design competences.

Ilaria always focus her attention on research before moving to the design phase.
In her BArch degree in "Environmental Architecture" she deeply studied the new generation libraries by working at the "Idea Store" libraries in London before designing a proposal for the new library of city of Piacenza.
Through the Master in Architecture she researched on the environmental impacts of architecture, on the interaction between technology and architecture and on landscape design. She investigated the theme of the abandoned stations of the London's Underground and developed a urban strategy to reuse them (MArch thesis).

Ilaria Maltoni worked as architectural assistant at Francesco Librizzi Studio (in Milan) being part of the interior design team, and at Marcello Spigaroli Studio (in Piacenza).
She collaborates with Condè Nast International as assistant for USA magazines' editor in chief during Milan fashion weeks. Read Less
