Iker Luna (born in 1987 in Managua Nicaragua) is an Architect graduated from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalunya (IAAC) in Barcelona, with a related thesis in the field of “Digital Tectonics – Fabrication Ecologies” . After graduating from Universidad Americana (UAM) with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture he has collaborating with different architecture office like Dorel Ramirez Arquitectura, Axis Arquitectos, Euromarcas Arquitectura, Enrique Urcuyo & Asociados and others independents architects like Marta Sensidoni, where he was involved in design, project coordination, rendering and technical drawings. He had been also evolved in TECHO a youth led non-profit organization present in Latin America & the Caribbean. Tutor collaboration and participation in different workshops like robotic fabrication, mechanic conversation, urban lightscape and sustainable design. Researcher consultant for international firms stablished in New York, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Beirut. Third place at Holcim Awards for Next Generation category, Europe 2014. Researcher collaborator for EVOLOSA, an environmental research company base in Nicaragua. Member and co-founder of COLABORATORIO collective. Project manager for the BSP (Building Services Program) at Rancho Santana. At present he works as independent consultant.
