Creating storyboards and sequence designs for Kurzgesagt's animation content

I focus on my favourite types of projects after I left my previous company. I've been working on animation and game content, creating illustrations and character motion graphics as a freelance motion designer and illustrator.

I created graphics for branding films and explainer animations for their clients such as Anglo American, HSBC, Pepsi Co, Petrofac, and Nuvei. Also, I produced graphic images for brand social media content and independent movie graphics, titles and ending credits.

As a part of Pebble Studios, I created graphics for a Netflix TV documentary series, explainer videos for Wallstreet Journal, and landing page animations and videos for AcadiaSoft . I also helped their partner company’s projects, producing website animations and brand social media content for Alpari and Bluestone on LinkedIn and Facebook.

I created a explainer video for Elements, and I generated web animations and illustrations for their landing pages for Homedot and Elements. Also, I contributed to the company’s weather app (‘Cats and Dogs’) item designs and event illustration creation. Plus, I collaborated with a package designer and created line illustrations for icecream packaging of Gelato Americano.

As I was a motion graphic designer in a big design team at Orchid Creation, I had many opportunities to collaborate with graphic designers, 2D and 3D motion designers. I produced explainer videos for Coca Cola and Google Android, and I participated in 2D motion part of a promotional video for UbiSoft. Also, I helped pitching processes’ graphic creations for Nickelodeon and Gameloft.

I learnt how to collaborate with copywriters, creative directors, art directors and designers with diverse backgrounds at Orchid because the offices are based in Paris, Barcelona, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai, and San Paulo.
As I was a motion graphic designer in a big design team, I had many opportunities to collaborate with graphic designers, 2D and 3D motion designers. While I was taking my English course and finding a job in London, I worked as a freelance designer and completed some freelance work.

Delpic design studio is one of the outstanding character motion graphic studios in South Korea. I started my motion graphic career in this unique design agency.

I learnt a wide range of design skills and character animation skills at Delpic and I utilised my original ideas, illustration skills and character motion graphic skills to create visually engaging animations and visual storytelling.

I participated in many game promotional video projects for Nexon, Line and Devsisters. I also created explainer videos for LG, Samsung, and Naver.

Interestingly, there were some independent creative projects outside of the company’s projects. So I was a part of creating a Korean Indie-band's music video animation and the company’s independent character animation project called Snow.B.

I love visualising my original ideas and making pieces of artwork, using my artwork skills. Since I graduated from my university, I have worked on freelance projects whenever I’m available. So I worked on motion graphic style frames for IBM, and I created promotional illustrations for Häagen-Dazs. Also, I collaborated with my previous company and produced motion graphic artwork for Nexon and Dr Jart.

When I was a university student, I took 1 and half month character designer internship in an animation studio in Korea. I participated in a children animation's concept art process. I created storylines, character designs and background concept art.
