Christ Church Santa Fe

Director of Communication Arts

As Director of Communication Arts at Christ Church Santa Fe, my marketing and publications work helps the church steadily grow in both attendance and fund raising. In my first year at Christ Church, I overhauled their web site, created an official social media presence, and better-integrated their email marketing. Church attendance doubled. In my second year, a fund raising campaign resulted in six million dollars pledged for a building expansion. Each week I conceptualize and create design for print, web and multimedia use. I publish a twenty-eight page Sunday bulletin containing sheet music, scripture and announcements. Ongoing print projects include the design and production of everything from environmental signage to fliers and cards; all original in design and tailored to the event or ministry. I produce video slide shows with motion graphics for onscreen announcements and ensure brand standards are met across all media. I manage the web site; write and edit copy; serve over fourteen ministries with personalized communications needs, and provide technology assistance. I track all metrics and make recommendations based on the data. I research and recommend technology solutions in addition to exploring and implementing new avenues for communications. I supervise and train an assistant, as well as provide tutoring to staff.
