I’m Hoyt Haf­felder, Prin­ci­pal of the cre­ative firm Haf­felder Stu­dios based in Austin Texas. Whether I’m cre­at­ing a logo for a mom and pop eatery or work­ing with a national ad agency, my work shines because it reflects my clients essence, cul­ture, and personality. My designs are annu­ally fea­tured in national and inter­na­tional pub­li­ca­tions.

Senior UX/UI Designer

Performs advanced web administration, web design and development work, including design coordination, deployment, and maintenance of desktop and mobile web environments. Works with advanced content management system, to include integration of the native Adobe Experience Manager Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) with a Bootstrap CSS. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product. Works across districts and divisions to:

• Documents interaction design and user interface specifications for projects, including reviewing and editing code and verifying successful production after publishing.
• Produces complex graphics work using imaging, multimedia and graphic design software applications.
• Plans, designs and produces website, mobile and interactive experiences using scripting languages, content creation tools, and digital media.

• Recommends and implements website integrations, to include programming technology to enhance existing website features and functionality.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to design effective, efficient user experiences for websites and applications.

Associate Creative Director

Create visual strategy, brand guidelines, designs, and visual storytelling. I'm responsible for managing the medical school’s academic and clinical visual brand identities. In addition to managing all brand licensing requests for the medical school my duties include:

• Liaison between UT Austin and Dell Med to ensure consistent and appropriate brand voice.
