Carolina Arentsen has been creating illustrations for clients both nationally and internationally.
Hint Studio is now in my name, www.carolinaarentsen.com

A resident of Providence Rhode Island, Carolina was born in Santiago, Chile.
Carolina attended the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated in 1991 with a BFA in Illustration.
She has been illustrating full-time since 1991, and has worked on a wide variety of assignments from book covers, posters, web, editorial and retail/mural assignments for clients in North America, Europe and South America.

Carolina has won several awards, the first upon her graduation from RISD, she received the John Randall Orth Award, given to one graduate every year, whose goal is to pursue a freelance illustration career. Within her first year as a freelance illustrator, she won first place for page presentation, by the New England Associated Press. Soon after she received more awards over the years by The Art Director's Club of New Jersey, The Catholic Press Association, and has been included in Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual.

A series of her posters have been commissioned in Estonia for theatrical projects and concert events.
All of her work, shown on this website, is digital.
She delivers final work via the internet, FTP or express mail in CD format.

• Designed and wrote weekly interactive newsletters, created with "Constant Contact"
• Filmed and directed educational videos about wine, liquors and craft beer, linked
to Youtube and connected to the newsletters I created.
• Photography of new items and events in the store, linked into the online newsletter
and also in Facebook.
• Created "Skype video with the Wine Maker" People tasting wine in the store can talk
with the wine makers, online with video, in such places as Argentina, Oregon, and Italy.

• Chose trends for the senior creative director.
• Manipulated, reproduced and designed concepts for beaded necklaces, bracelets
and earrings for Dress Barn and Coldwater Creek. Hand mounted Swarovski
Crystals and created jewelry designs with those parts. Designed charms,
earrings, necklaces and Christmas/Holiday designs for J.C Penny, Sears,
Target, Walmart.

Main client, Coldwater Creek. I designed jewelry in the style of Lucky Brand and Juicy Couture, as well as taking inspiration from North American Indian art and textiles.
I also redesigned the Coldwater Creek Logo, requested from the company to me.
