Hello! My name is Hiné Mizushima. I was born and raised in Japan. I majored in Japanese traditional paintings, and worked as a designer/Illustrator in Tokyo. Then I moved to Rome, then Paris, then NY. And eleven years ago I moved to Vancouver, Canada with my family.

Now I'm also a slow Crafter, Kogin embroiderer and Stop-motion animation video artist.

I have been commissioned for a number of official music videos for They Might Be Giants.

I also made miniature collages for several book covers in Japan, and The New York Times web campaign.

My felt sculptures have been exhibited in galleries in NY, LA, SF, Tokyo, Osaka and other cities, and commissioned for Adobe Creative Cloud event in NYC as well.

I also sell my handmade felt stuff and prints on my Etsy shop, Redbubble and Society6. Read Less
