An independent project that grew out of my senior thesis at CCA. After investing resting various sleep and resting products for a semester, I went on to design a series of luxury experimental body pillows. After enough people asked me about purchasing them, I began to make more. The pillows can be seen at otherpillow.com. I’m currently looking for retailers.

Created and edited design files. Customized print-ready files for Minted customers. Corresponded with customers regarding their customization instructions. Proof read customer designs. Edited (color correcting) photos for optimal print quality.

The New Materials Resource center is designed to inspire students and faculty through hands-on material samples. The collection includes over 1000 samples from a wide variety of industries. The collection ranges from high performance to novelty materials like aluminum foam. As the sole employee of the Resource Center, I am in regular contact with manufacturers and distributors of new and innovative materials, which I research, learn about and share information about. I am responsible for a wide variety of other tasks such as communicating with the CCA community about the Resource Center, consulting with students and faculty on their projects and interacting with companies and distributors nationally.

Gave daily campus tours and consulted with inquiring or accepted CCA students. Completed a number of data entry tasks and handled some general reception such as answering phones and mail sorting. Acted as assistant to the Enrollment Counselors and Office Manager.
