In 1997 after finishing the degree in Graphic Design, Herbert begins his own path across the advertising business field as an Art Director of Leo Burnett Guatemala. Four years later, he leaves the agency to take a new challenge far away of his country to work Virtual Business in Ireland.
In 2002 he returns to Guatemala with new knowledge, wishing get an important part in the advertising field in his country looking to grow in it and working with such recognized companies like JWT and DDB Guatemala.
In January of 2010 he is called to be part of Ogilvy Guatemala as Associate Creative Director, achieving the first Cannes Lions of this agency.
Later in 2012 he achieved the first Gold Lion in Cannes for Guatemala in the Direct category and a Bronze Lion in Media category, which represented his most important winning season.
Actually, Herberth works with Leo Burnett Colombia as General Creative Director, proving once again his talent getting in a single year, prizes in the most important festivals in the world such as CLIO, New York Festivals, Kinsale Sharks, Ojo de Iberoamérica and more. Read Less
