Hi! I'm Henrik.

For the past four years I have worked as Communications Advisor for The Norwegian Conservative Party. My main tasks have been within digital campaigning and social media.

Last year our party secured electoral victory in the Parliament Elections. I was one of few that worked in The Norwegian Prime Minister’s personal Election team. Here I had responsibility for maintaining her official Facebook page, and I followed her closely throughout the election campaign. Prior to the Election Day, I worked closely with strategic targeting work, focusing specifically on how the party could better reach out to millennials. I was also given responsibility for graphics and video editing.

Today, I run all of the party's social media accounts and assist the remaining Facebook pages of party officials. This includes the social media accounts of nine ministers and 45 members of parliament.

My goal is that each political message should be as catchy and memorable as possible. This implies high quality both visually and written.

In addition to the electoral victory, the Conservative party won first place for best global election video and second place for best global election campaign at The Polaris Awards in London.

When I finish my degree in International studies at The University of Oslo, I would like to continue working with political communication and campaigns – this is not specific to Norway. I aspire to bring my knowledge and experience within the field to other countries. In addition, I have an ambition to work with environmental policy and sustainable development in the future, as this is an area that interests me greatly.
