Nation19® is an award winning artist team based in a secret location of Arizona that blurs the boundaries between fine art, scientific research and multi-media production. Hakeem originally from South Central LA and Queen from Watts, CA (her ancestry is American Samoan royalty) share an interest in street culture and a strong background in filmmaking. They operate as both an artist collective and a production company. Their ambitious projects are frequently anchored in Hip Hop Culture, Archeology and Ethnographic research. They have made it their mission to demystify preconceived notions about Indigenous communities around the globe. Working in innovative ways, Nation19 has developed a model that merges collaborative, conceptual art practices—partially steeped in Activism, Edutainment, and Visual Anthropology.

Nation19 has designed, directed, and produced for NBC Interactive, Univision, XBOX, Snoop Dogg, KIISFMi, TI's The K.I.N.G. Foundation, Michael Jackson CO, State Farm Insurance, WBLS NY, Derrick Rose, Adidas, Russell Simmons, OWN Television, MGM Television, MTV, VH1, PF Changs, Pei Wei, and Bar Louie.
