I am fascinated by experimenting with biomimetic concepts and translating them to resolve architecture and design briefs. I am interested in how subjective research and thorough use of data can be used with nature’s algorithms, and then computed to generate meaningful, responsive architecture. I have spent the past two years adapting and developing the design process to allow myself to approach design in a different way.

I am a meticulous and inquisitive person by nature, inside design and out. It is those characteristics which have driven me to onto a steep learning curve and it is my intention to continue along this curve. I have left University, energetic and enthusiastic to explore and experiment further with the evolving process of design. I am immensely proud of the work I have completed over the past few years and I hope you enjoy looking over my projects. Thank you for taking the time and for your interest. Read Less

I am currently completing my Masters in Architecture, with research directed towards emergent architectures, particularly focused around systems which mimic evolutionary principles and allow the use of datascapes as triggers for architectural solutions. PARA.site is a project I am working on, as a vehicle to explaining the importance of using data in design, and proving that form can equal function, without compromising on aesthetical beauty. It is vital that architects now create high performance buildings, which respond just as much to environmental conditions as the needs of the user. Read Less
