Based in London with over 20 years experience in photography Graham Hughes has worked all over the globe, starting his career in New York assisting Fashion and Advertising photographers.
His work has appeared in The Times, GQ, FHM, Playboy, The Sunday Times magazine and The Observer magazine.
Past advertising campaigns have included photographing Lewis Hamilton, Iker Casillas, and Allen Iverson for the Reebok Zigtech campaign, and also Jessica Ennis for the London Olympics Powerade & Adidas GameFace campaigns. He also shot the London 2012 Olympics for The Times newspaper, and the Jessica Ennis autobiography Unbelievable for Hodder and Stoughton.
He has recently finished shooting campaigns for Pru Health and this years Grand National ads for Channel 4. In the summer of 2013 his portraits for Coca-Cola of Special Olympics competitors were used as part of the Share a Coke global campaign, and was used on the iconic digital board in London's Picadilly Circus.
Also in 2013 he has completed 2 pieces of personal work. A film called "Down the dogs" a look at the demise of greyhound racing in the UK, and "Tres Dias No Rio" A set of photographs showing the people of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He shot portraits of of the beautiful and interesting on Copacabana, and Ipanema beaches. He also took time to photograph gritty portraits of boxers in the notorious Rochina Favela.
Graham Hughes is represented by Mark Gibson in the UK.
He is honored to have shot the 2014 Sport relief campaign which will be appearing all over the UK in advertising and in Sainsbury's stores nationwide.
His latest project is "Men of Wisdom" a project he shot in Wisdom, Montana in a cowboy town. Population 99.
