My career in advertising spans over 15 years. While working both as a freelance contributor and a full-time employee I have gained extensive experience in the fields of graphic design, advertising and studio photography. The skillset that I have developed focuses mostly on concept development, mixed-media campaigns, branding, design, while putting emphasis on maintaining very high production values. Advertising photography is also an integral part of my work. I have an extensive knowledge for technical aspects of photograhpic media, as well as high technical proficiency for working in indoor/studio environments.
In the period between 2002 and 2007, I was hired by various clients and advertising agencies, most notably the Fabrika – one of the leading advertising agencies in Bosnia & Herzegovina and the region. In 2007 I was employed as an Art Director at the Communis advertising agency in Sarajevo – a subsidiary of Communis DDB in Belgrade, Serbia. My duties were to handle concept developments, participate in brainstorming sessions, develop key visuals, lead the photo-shoots and manage the remainder of the creative team. I remained at the aforementioned position until January 2011 after amicably parting ways with Communis agency with the intention of focusing on personal professional endeavors.
After working with the freelance status again for the next 3 years, I rejoined the Communis agency again in 2014, this time as an Associate Creative Director. Apart from the duties typical for an Art Director, this position was focused more on managing the agency’s creative department, leading the brainstorming sessions, discussing creative strategies with clients, and generally having higher level of responsibilities for the client and the agency.
Upon an Invitation from BMW in 2017 I have moved to Munich, Germany, where I’m currently employed as a Detail Designer at their partnership company DE Automotive GmbH, focusing mostly on typographical elements and other graphical details which are integral parts of BMW’s cars and the brand overall.
Throughout my career I have gained local recognition and and reputation in the industry by executing or participating in several notable projects for which I’ve received a number of awards. I also had a privilege to be a jury member of two notable annual events in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina - 5th No Limit Advertising Festival in 2010, and 7th Balkan Photo Festival in 2017. Read Less
