Giulia Coletto

Graphic Designer

Auckland, New Zealand
As a graphic designer I know that beauty can be found in the smallest of things, and I approach my work in that way. Each project has its own unique personality, and if treated in the correct way, it will show its true colours.
In my 4 years of studies I have learned to accept constructive criticism and to push my limits to the fullest. Keep on learning, keep on exploring new things and new places, try and try again until you can master your task. That is the way to succeed. But also to remember that a good night’s sleep is sometimes needed to get those creative juices flowing again!
After working for 3 years, I can say my abilities are far-ranging. I have gained more confidence in myself and know I can comfortably take on a project single-handedly, as well as work in a team.
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that the greatest results come with passion for your work -
That is when the most beautiful designs come to life.

Work Experience

Bespoke Marketing

Intermediate Designer

Being a small agency with no other designers, I fell into a leading designer role, where I was in charge of designing all collateral for various Malls, reporting to the Managing/Creative Director. Together we worked on strategies for each individual Mall's personality, creating campaigns as well as monthly category ads e.g. Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Christmas etc. Besides that, I also worked on smaller projects for specific stores as well as digital advertising through social media.

Halo Studio

An agency-based Graphic Design and Photography studio.
I assisted various clients at Halo studio, working on campaigns from concept to final print production. My design skills have grown greatly in the 2 years and I progressed to a leading designer role, where I helped to run the office, meet with clients, liaise with the printers, organise deliveries and send out quotes and invoices while still focusing on my design projects.
