Politecnico Di Milano

Master of Architecture (MArch)

Thesis: Research on the Renovation of Historical Waterfronts of the Huang Pu River in Shanghai.

During the Master attended at the Tongji University I craved the desire to conquest more experiences within the growth regulation that Shanghai City has been following so far. The topic of the research wants to fulfill the outcomes of a Cosmopolitan City that represent one of the most important Economic Port of China.
Shanghai, crossed by the Huang Pu River, has many opportunities to reconnect all the Historical Waterfronts to the urban texture, giving to the city the possibility to rediscover abandoned areas and get a chance to live again a great relationship within the nature in a crowded Metopolitan City.
2013 - 2015 Milan, Italy

Politecnico Di Milano

Bachelor of Architecture (BArch)

Thesis: ColoRE_ Renovation of People's Park in Reggio Emilia.

The thesis involved the definition of a design solution that would confer a new shape to the area, making it not only more noticeable and appealing to the citizens, but also more protected with regard to its cultural and architectural heritages.
Defined as an environment that reflects all citizens, as well as users of all ages meant finding a connecting element that could care the linking about all different needs, included in a common place, that maintains an essence of vitality and the interest in the discovery of this place.
This is best achieved through the use of materials, colors, shapes, spaces, species of trees that are to be used in different ways to create a sort of “rooms” in an environment that actually remains unified and balanced, making coexist the natural aspect of the place with the concept of urban life.
