I am a graduate of fine arts major in visual communication in University of the Philippines. I am a creative, experienced graphic designer for print and publishing. I taught myself the following software applications for Microsoft Windows: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Premiere, Fireworks. And I am willing to learn other applications that the company may require.
My theoretical and practical skills have enabled me to accurately translate business requirements into marketing oriented creative design. My strong oral communication skills enable me to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, partners and collegues. I can also collaborate with a team or work autonomously.
As of now, I am currently employed by different companies as their freelance graphic artist. Among these companies are Shrapnel Custom Shirt Designs and Print, Alternative Communications, Montaosa Coffee Co. Fortuity Trading Inc., and Orange Segment Print & Design Studio.
I was also employed full time as graphic designer for marketing in the most prestigious rock station in the Philippines -NU107, Progressive Broadcasting Corp. I headed the last Rock Awards held at the NBC tent last November 2010. I was responsible for the sponsors' ads placement, layout and overall production.
I've had 2 one-man digital art exhibits and 2 group digital exhibits, all held in Baguio City. To keep myself abreast of the current design trends and techniques, I have also been attending the different national Graphic Expos for the past years.
I am currently the vocalist of a rock band called THE LOWTECHS.
