Mólo - a functional object which attracts attention and encourages activity. (as defined by authors)
The purpose of the Mólo is to make the area between The Slovak Chamber Theater and the Turiec Library in Martin accessible and usable. A path will be created across the area, forming a space for exhibitions, music events or, simply, relaxation.
The architects aim is to create a pavilion with an infinite number of uses, which are never imposed, only suggested. The Mólo will be an architectural invitation to a natural area. The area was fenced off for a long time but now it is open and provides the central pedestrian zone with a brand new multi-purpose space.
