‘Looksee’ was a conceptual graphic design journal I created for a college project. Following a brief set by the 'International Society of Typographic Designers' I had to develop a design solution based on the theme of ‘City types’.

This handmade prototype featured an article titled ‘The Hard Sell’ which commented on the marketing campaigns used to sell property in Ireland at the time.
The front cover featured a photograph I took of the typographic detail on a property advertisement in Dublin.
The contents page featured a photograph I took of stacked chairs on a street in London. I loved the repeating lines juxtaposed against the reflection of the glass.
The article page featured line drawn silhouettes of contemporary furniture, the kind I imagined would fill the expensive new properties that the article commented on.
The back cover featured a perpendicular shot of the bottom of the letter 'A' from the front cover.
