“Festa grande di Aprile” is a play written by Franco Antonicelli for the 25th April celebration, which is the date of Italian liberation from Fascism and Nazism. This text is a confluence of stories about men with different backgrounds in education, development, culture and political belief, which tells us about fascism and anti-fascism. It was performed by the theatre company TEATROTELLO (director G. Frelli), based in Jesi, that played in most of Urbino areas, using the town’s architectures as a stage. On the visual side it included design of: a poster, an exhibition about the second scene and a book inspired by a character inside the play (in this case the first partisan in scene 8).
