The Zero Gravity MX logo design and website was a client project requested in 2011 for a motocross track in Greensburg, PA. The client was in the process of opening his back yard dirt bike track to the public. We worked together to produce an identity that people would find appealing and relevant. Two logos were produced for different occasions; the more detailed version is intended for decals and signage while the less detailed logo is intended for t-shirts and more simple media. The client chose the colors for the final logo.
The website toned the bright colors down a little bit without losing the branding. I used Adobe Photoshop to give the logo that three-dimensional feel and the layout. I also photographed everything on the website, including the photo gallery. I designed and programmed the entire website using HTML, CSS, jQuery and a Facebook plugin. By teaching the client some basic HTML and FTP information, he is able to update his website’s announcements and the images to when the track is opened or closed.
